Required Experience:
Qualifications & Skills
At least 5 years of experience in corporate partnerships, corporate philanthropy, or related fields within the nonprofit sector or private sector.
Track record of achieving revenue targets, securing renewals, and increasing the overall value of corporate partnerships.
Proven experience building and maintaining relationships with corporate funders, sponsors, and partners, including managing sponsorships, grants, and donor portfolios.
Strong understanding of both nonprofit infrastructure and culture, as well as corporate priorities and motivations, with a passion for marrying the two.
Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
Experience in developing and presenting compelling proposals, reports, and presentations to senior leaders and corporate partners.
Ability to analyze partnership success metrics and provide data-driven insights to leadership and corporate partners.
Familiarity with CRM systems and fundraising platforms (e.g., Salesforce, Microsoft Dynamics, etc).
Experience working with national or multinational corporations and understanding the dynamics of large corporate partnerships.
A background or interest in corporate philanthropy and partnerships.
Education:
Bachelor's degree in business, nonprofit management, or a related field required; advanced degree preferred.
Personal Attributes
Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build trust and rapport with corporate leaders and stakeholders.
A passion for the nonprofit sector and a strong alignment with the organization’s mission and values.
Ability to negotiate, manage expectations, and find creative solutions to align the interests of both corporate partners and the nonprofit.

As we embark on the next chapter, focused on expanding our reach and deepening impact, we seek to add a team of exceptional relationship managers to drive new corporate funding, as well as grow and expand current partnerships. The Director of Corporate Partnerships will play a key role in building, cultivating, and stewarding relationships with a portfolio of corporate partners and funders, ensuring their continued engagement and investment in the nonprofit’s mission.
General Description of Duties and Responsibilities
This individual will focus on developing relationships with corporate funders, including but not limited to, marketing teams, and corporate foundations—to cultivate and close on mutually beneficial partnerships. Reporting to the President, Partnerships and working on a team of corporate portfolio managers, this role will collaborate with peers and interdepartmentally to optimize partnership potential and develop a comprehensive, sustainable strategy for corporate support of Operation HOPE. The ideal candidate will bring a deep understanding of the motivations and goals of prospective corporate sponsors and have experience in managing corporate giving, sponsorships, and strategic partnerships within the nonprofit sector.
Key Responsibilities
Partnership Development & Management
Develop and manage a portfolio of high-potential corporate partnerships, focusing on both new and existing relationships.
Cultivate strong, long-term relationships with key corporate stakeholders and decision makers, including corporate foundations, corporate giving teams, and marketing departments.
Develop and implement partnership strategies that align corporate interests with the nonprofit’s mission and values.
Act as the primary point of contact for corporate partners within their portfolio, ensuring a seamless and high-quality experience.
Fundraising & Revenue Growth
Work closely with the President, Partnerships to identify and execute strategies to increase corporate giving, sponsorships, and in-kind support.
Focus heavily on new partner acquisition and generation of new business and closing partnership deals.
Lead the renewal process for existing corporate partners, identifying opportunities for growth and "laddering" giving.
Collaborate with the Development team to secure new corporate partners and identify cross-functional opportunities for increased funding.
Ensure that partnership goals and deliverables are met and exceed targets, tracking progress and reporting on outcomes to leadership.
Corporate Partner Stewardship
Steward relationships with corporate partners by providing consistent communication, updates on the impact of their support, and recognition of their contributions.
Develop customized stewardship plans to ensure long-term engagement and continued support from corporate partners.
Monitor and evaluate partnership success, providing partners with clear and compelling reporting on the outcomes and impact of their investment.
Collaboration with Internal Teams
Work cross-functionally with the marketing, communications, and programs teams to create tailored proposals, decks, reports and other deliverables.
Align with the President, Partnerships to set overall strategic goals and develop annual plans for corporate partnerships.
Ensure that all partnership agreements are properly executed, documented, and fulfilled according to terms.
Trend Analysis & Market Insights
Stay up-to-date on trends in corporate social responsibility (CSR), philanthropy, and corporate partnerships, particularly around sustainability, and other corporate social impact initiatives.
Provide insight into the motivations and goals of corporate partners, advising the nonprofit on how to best engage potential partners.
