Key Experiences
Experience leading a mission driven organization
Experience and deep knowledge of human service sector
Demonstrated success leading a team of executives, either directly or with influence
Experience with property management
Demonstrated success in developing and managing multi-million-dollar budgets
Experience monitoring, anticipating and navigating state legislation, changing mandates and shifting funds.
Experience in managing and working with a Board of Directors.
Demonstrated ability in being an organizational evangelist with a variety of stakeholder including but not limited to: political officials, external partners, stakeholders, media, families and people enrolled in CTF programs
Experience in determining program growth and/or navigating mergers and acquisitions
Bachelor or Masters degree with at least seven years of direct administration experience

Salary is commensurate with the requirements of the position. The compensation package is $210,000 to $280,000 dependent upon qualifications.

The Opportunity
The President and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) position is an opportunity for an experienced leader to join a large, nonprofit organization with significant impact in the community and join a mission-focused team that empowers individuals with developmental disabilities to live the life they want to live. CTF has a five county service area and employs over 400 staff.
The CEO will work collaboratively with the Board of Directors and leadership team to provide strategic leadership and operational oversight for both CTF Illinois and its philanthropic arm, Community Services Foundation, ensuring the delivery of high-quality services and supports to individuals with disabilities while maximizing fundraising efforts and financial stability. The successful candidate will chart a course for the future, building upon the organizations history and expertise. This visionary leader will drive innovation, oversee operations, cultivate a values-driven organizational culture, and strategically position CTF Illinois for sustained impact for generations to come.
As a key ambassador, the CEO will play a crucial role in advocacy and community engagement, representing the organization throughout the state and beyond. This is a chance to lead a respected nonprofit, contribute to the well-being of the community, and be a catalyst for positive change in developmental disability services in Illinois.
