Required Experience:

Qualifications:

1. Proven experience in fundraising, development, or related roles, with a successful track record of meeting fundraising targets.

2. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage and steward donors and partners.

3. Excellent organizational and project management abilities, including the capacity to manage multiple fundraising initiatives simultaneously.

4. Knowledge of fundraising best practices, donor relations, and grant writing.

5. Passion for the mission of Operation Airdrop and a commitment to supporting disaster relief efforts.

6. Pilot’s Certificate or aviation experience is a plus.

Job Title: Director of Fundraising

Company: Operation Airdrop

Annual Salary: $75,000 - $150,000

Location: Flexible, remote.

Job Description:

Operation Airdrop is seeking a dedicated and experienced Fundraising Director to join our team. As the Fundraising Director, you will be responsible for designing and leading fundraising initiatives to support our mission of providing disaster relief through aviation resources. This position reports to the Executive Director and is an integral part of the organization’s Leadership Team.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Develop and execute fundraising strategies to secure financial support for Operation Airdrop's initiatives.

2. Build and maintain relationships with individual donors, corporate partners, and foundations to secure funding for the organization.

3. Plan and coordinate fundraising events, campaigns, and activities to engage existing and potential donors.

4. Collaborate with the marketing and communications teams to create compelling fundraising materials and campaigns.

5. Research and identify new funding opportunities and grant prospects to diversify the organization's funding sources.

6. Provide leadership and guidance to the fundraising team, including setting goals, tracking performance, grant writing, and fostering a culture of philanthropy.

7. Some Travel Required.

8. Other duties as assigned.
