CEO & President
Ronald McDonald Charities of Southwest Florida is seeking a dynamic and experienced CEO & President (CEO) to lead our dedicated team as we continue to fulfill our mission to provide essential services that remove barriers, strengthen families, and promote healing when children need healthcare. In 2024, we provided over 2,769 overnight stays at the Ronald McDonald House, 3,799 visits to the Ronald McDonald Family Room, and served over 8,400 children through our Ronald McDonald Care Mobile.
The CEO is responsible and accountable for effectively managing with integrity the business of the chapter, including financial performance and reporting, implementation of the policies and procedures established by the Board of Directors, daily operational oversight, Board and community relations, and all other related activities, including new initiatives. The CEO leads and supervises all employees, encouraging and facilitating their success, and clearly and consistently communicating the expectations related to their duties and responsibilities, including those associated with new initiatives. The CEO is accountable to the Board of Directors for stewardship of the Mission Statement and the effective performance of all responsibilities of the position.
Who We Are
In the late 1980s, a community-minded group of individuals came together to raise funds to build a Ronald McDonald House. In 1991, The Ronald McDonald House of Southwest Florida became incorporated, and in December 1996, The Ronald McDonald House of Southwest Florida opened its doors to children and families. In 2003, we incorporated as a 501(c)3 non-profit organization and became the Ronald McDonald House Charities of Southwest FL (RMHC SWFL). We have continued to expand to serve families and children in our community…
In 2004 – We added our first Ronald McDonald Care Mobile to serve children in Collier County.
In 2017 – We added a second Ronald McDonald Care Mobile to serve children in Lee, Hendry, and Charlotte counties.
In 2017 – That same year, the Ronald McDonald Family Room opened in Golisano Children’s Hospital.
In 2019, the 6-bedroom House was expanded and renovated to a 12-bedroom home-away-from-home for families of critically ill children.
