Overview:
Cristo Rey Dallas College Prep is a Catholic, college preparatory school for students from households of low to moderate-income. Who YOU are:
The Major Gifts Officer is responsible for designing, developing, and implementing our major gift program. This role involves managing and cultivating relationships with existing major gift prospects, identifying and soliciting new prospects, and supporting the development team through various projects, initiatives, and events.

Responsibilities: Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Prospect and Donor Management
Act as the primary manager for a portfolio of up to 150 prospects, guiding them through discovery, cultivation, solicitation, and stewardship.
Implement short, intermediate, and long-term major gift cultivation and solicitation strategies for individual prospects.
Identify, cultivate, solicit, and close major gifts of $5,000 and above, primarily from individuals, foundations and corporations achieving an annual individual goal of $2 million in commitments and pledges to contribute to the annual development goal.
Work closely with the VP of Advancement to secure 55 the Partnership scholarships
Conduct direct, face-to-face solicitations with potential
Track and report progress using specific metrics and moves management
Prepare compelling proposals and solicitations for major
Work closely with grant consultants and development coordinator to manage foundation relationships, proposals and reporting.
Conduct 10 meaningful donor touches weekly and complete call reports
Utilize systems and software to track and cultivate donors and
Communicate our mission clearly to prospective
Acknowledge donors through timely and appropriate private and public
Event Support
Support all development events, including the Cristo Clays and Grow the
Solicit individual and corporate sponsorships for our milestone
Assist in the planning and execution of all fundraising events, including the annual gala, and other necessary events.
Collaboration
A strong team player, demonstrated self-starter and motivational leader with excellent interpersonal skills, requiring minimal supervision and a desire to work in a fast-paced environment on multiple tasks.
Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing with a keen attention to detail

Attend community events, networking events, conferences, educational programs, and online training to enhance fundraising knowledge and professional development.
Collaborate closely with the Vice President of Advancement to achieve overall
