Proven leadership and management capabilities are essential, especially in navigating principal, major, planned, annual, capital, and endowment fundraising within complex multi-site systems. Successful candidates will demonstrate a strong track record of increasing fundraising performance, including expertise in executing capital campaigns and cultivating meaningful relationships with major donors. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills are vital for establishing trust with diverse stakeholders, ranging from board members to community partners.
Additionally, you should have strong problem-solving, analytical, and project management skills to juggle multiple initiatives effectively. Experience in creating and retaining high-caliber teams will enhance fundraising operations, while familiarity with Lean Six Sigma or Agile methodologies is a plus in optimizing processes to align with Harvest Hope's mission.

YOUR DAY TO DAY AS A VICE PRESIDENT OF RESOURCE DEVELOPMENT AND ENGAGEMENT
As the Vice President of Resource Development and Engagement at Harvest Hope Food Bank, you will play a pivotal role in shaping our mission through relationship cultivation and resource generation. You will oversee key departments, including Philanthropic Giving, Healthy Food Access, and Marketing and Advocacy, while supporting the CEO and Board of Directors in setting ambitious goals and strategies. Your leadership will drive critical initiatives, from coordinating capital campaigns to enhancing brand awareness in our communities.
You will engage with diverse stakeholders—executives, community leaders, and donors—creating a culture of philanthropy that aligns with our strategic plan. Your responsibilities will include implementing effective fundraising strategies, optimizing data analytics for financial reporting, and advancing corporate partnerships. Additionally, you’ll ensure compliance with fundraising regulations and lead efforts in planned giving, all aimed at generating essential revenue to meet the needs of food-insecure individuals and communities served by Harvest Hope Food Bank.
