Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, public relations, or a related field.
3+ years of experience in a marketing and communication role
Demonstrated success in creating and executing integrated marketing campaigns.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Proven leadership and team management experience.
Experience with Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems, email platforms, web content management, and social media tools. Experience with Feathr and/or WebFlow preferred.
Ability to work collaboratively across departments and with external stakeholders.
Strong understanding of agricultural issues and rural community dynamics is highly preferred. Familiarity with nonprofit or membership-based organizations helpful.
Graphic design, video editing, or content creation experience preferred.
Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $70,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year

Full job description
DATE: Position will be open until filled. Review of materials will begin immediately.

Position Summary:

The Director of Marketing and Communications is responsible for leading the strategic marketing initiatives of Nebraska Farm Bureau and the Nebraska Farm Bureau Foundation to elevate brand visibility, engage members, and support organizational goals. This role will oversee all aspects of marketing, including branding, digital communications, content strategy, and campaign development. The Director will work closely with the Federation and Foundation teams to ensure marketing efforts align with advocacy, education, and membership growth objectives.

Location:

The location for this position is onsite at the Nebraska Farm Bureau State Office Building in Lincoln, Nebraska.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and implement a comprehensive marketing strategy that enhances the visibility and impact of Nebraska Farm Bureau across the state.
Lead brand management initiatives and ensure consistency in messaging, tone, and visual identity across all platforms.
Oversee and execute marketing campaigns that support membership recruitment, engagement, and retention.
Manage multiple projects, including print and digital, for on time completion.
Review, edit, and refine creative work to maintain Nebraska Farm Bureau’s quality standards and brand identity.
Collaborate with internal teams to promote programs, events, and policy initiatives through multi-channel marketing.
Monitor digital marketing efforts, including website content, social media, email marketing, and digital advertising.
Monitor, measure, and report on marketing campaign performance and adapt strategies as needed.
Manage vendor relationships, including designers, printers, and media partners.
Serve as a thought leader on emerging marketing tools, technologies, and trends relevant to advocacy organizations.
