Job Summary
The Executive Director of the Children's Museum of St. Tammany will provide visionary leadership and strategic direction for the organization, ensuring operational excellence and fostering a culture of innovation and accountability. This role requires a dynamic leader who can effectively manage resources, drive business development initiatives, and enhance organizational performance. The Executive Director will work closely with the Board of Trustees and Leadership Team to implement strategic plans that align with the organization's mission and vision.

Responsibilities

Lead the development and execution of the organization’s strategic plan to achieve its mission and objectives.
Oversee daily operations, ensuring efficient processes and effective resource management.
Foster a culture of continuous improvement through process enhancement initiatives.
Engage in the Leadership Team activities, providing guidance and mentorship to directors.
Manage relationships with key stakeholders, including board members, community leaders, and partners.
Serve as chief development officer.
Negotiate contracts and agreements that support the organization's goals while ensuring compliance with regulations.
Drive business development efforts to expand organizational reach and impact.
Represent the organization at public events, conferences, and meetings to promote its mission.
