Required Experience:

Education: Bachelor's/Master’s degree in Communications, Marketing, Business, Nonprofit Management, or a related field.

Experience: 3–5 years of experience in fundraising, donor relations, or event management, ideally in higher education or the nonprofit sector.

Skills:
Proven ability to plan and execute successful fundraising or donor engagement events.
Excellent written and oral communication skills, with strong attention to detail.
High degree of professionalism, discretion, and emotional intelligence in donor-facing interactions.
Strong project management and organizational abilities, with experience managing multiple priorities.
Proficiency in CRM and donor management systems and familiarity with digital fundraising tools preferred.

Additional Requirements:
Authorized to work in the United States
Flexibility for occasional evening and weekend work.
Ability to travel domestically for events and donor meetings, in-person, as needed.

Duties / Expectations:

Fundraising & Donor Engagement: Support the development and execution of fundraising strategies that build meaningful relationships with friends of the University across the US.

Event Coordination: Plan and manage overseas donor events, including: fundraising galas, coffee salons, and appreciation gatherings, overseeing logistics, budgets, vendors, and on-site execution.

Donor Stewardship: Nurture and maintain multiple engagement touchpoints to deepen long-term relationships and timely donor acknowledgment, and recognition.

Communications & Marketing: Collaborate with the University’s communications team to develop compelling fundraising materials, newsletters, and digital content that highlight impact and inspire giving.

Database & Reporting: Track donor activity, manage records in CRM systems, and prepare reports on event outcomes, contributions, and donor engagement.

Collaboration & Support: Work closely with host committees, operational committee, advancement board, and teams to align efforts with broader institutional goals.
