ABOUT International Relief Teams:
Since 1988, International Relief Teams – a San Diego-based nonprofit organization – has provided life-saving assistance to families affected by disaster and poverty in 78 countries, delivering more than $770 million in humanitarian aid. International Relief Teams takes a two-pronged approach to humanitarian aid: responding immediately to crises through trusted partners, and implementing long-term programs that support struggling individuals and families. A core tenet of International Relief Team’s work is its lean operating model which is centered on its relationships with partner organizations that have the networks, infrastructure, and expertise to deliver aid quickly, allowing International Relief Teams to achieve maximum impact at minimal costs. International Relief Team’s own programs provide nutritious meals and safe shelter, helping families regain stability during times of hardship.
International Relief Teams operates with an annual budget of $4M (that leverages approximately $45M annually in in-kind relief supplies), a staff of 7, and an engaged 12-member Board of Directors. Find out more about us at https://www.irteams.org
