Required Experience:
Serve as the Chief Fundraiser and primary relationship manager for major donors, foundations, and key stakeholders.
Provide comprehensive development strategy, including annual giving, major gifts, legacy giving, and potential capital campaigns.
Develop and manage the annual operating budget, ensuring robust fiscal accountability, accurate reporting, and compliance.
Financial compliance and the successful execution of internal and external financial audits.
Operational Oversight & Program Delivery
Lead day-to-day operations, staff, and the dedicated volunteer base, ensuring high-quality, mission-driven program delivery.
Establish and enforce effective internal policies, procedures, and risk management strategies.
Lead innovation efforts to actively break down barriers to service and expand accessibility and equity across all programs, focusing on measurable impact.
Community & Public Advocacy
Serve as the primary public advocate and voice of Alzheimers Coachella Valley.
Build and maintain strong, collaborative relationships with healthcare providers, senior services agencies, government entities, and media partners.

Position Summary
The Executive Director serves as the strategic, operational, and public leader of Alzheimers Coachella Valley. This role is responsible for advancing the organization's mission to provide comprehensive education, support, advocacy, and programs for individuals and families affected by Alzheimer's, other cognitive impairments, throughout the Coachella Valley.
The Opportunity & Critical Priorities
The Executive Director will lead a critical phase of organizational growth and impact. Primary objectives include leading the strategic expansion of services into underserved areas of the Valley and securing the long-term financial stability necessary to sustain future programming and ensure Alzheimers Coachella Valley remains the definitive regional resource for support.
Organizational Scope
Annual Operating Budget: Approximately $1.6 Million.
Annual Fundraising Goal: Responsible for securing goal driven diversified revenue streams (Major Gifts, Grants, Events, etc.).
The Team: 3 Full Time, 1 Part Time, 3 Per Diem, and 3 consultants, and a dedicated base of over 40 active volunteers.
Service Reach: Serves approximately 1,000 individuals annually across the Coachella Valley.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Leadership & Governance
Develop, implement, and evaluate the organization’s long-term strategic plan in collaboration with the Board.
Provide timely, accurate executive reports and financial analysis to the Board, actively supporting governance, recruitment, and engagement.
Monitor industry trends to ensure mission alignment and responsiveness to evolving community needs.
