Full job description
United Way St. Croix & Red Cedar Valleys is seeking its next Executive Director, a strategic, community-focused leader to advance our mission and strengthen local impact.
The Executive Director leads a dedicated team and works closely with the Board of Directors to grow financial resources, build strong community partnerships, and guide programs that improve lives throughout our six-county area. This role oversees fundraising and resource development efforts, including the annual campaign, donor relationships, grants, and leadership giving.
As the public face of United Way locally, the Executive Director builds collaborative relationships with donors, businesses, labor, government, nonprofits, and civic leaders to address community needs and inspire shared action. The position also provides leadership in community impact—evaluating funded programs, supporting agency partnerships, and helping shape long-term strategies to improve health, education, and financial stability.
This role manages staff, finances, and daily operations, ensuring accountability, strong fiscal stewardship, and alignment with United Way's mission and values.
