Required Experience:
REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor’s degree preferred; degree in business, nonprofit management, or related field desirable
Minimum of two (2) years of fundraising experience required
Prior senior leadership or executive experience, preferably within a nonprofit or mission-driven organization
Strong financial oversight, budgeting, and strategic planning skills
Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
Proven ability to build relationships with donors, community leaders, staff, and volunteers
High ethical standards, strong executive presence, and unquestionable integrity
Ability to lead teams, manage conflict, and drive organizational performance
Detail-oriented with strong follow-through and accountability
Ability and willingness to travel locally and internationally, including Ciudad Juárez
Bilingual in English and Spanish (required)

A mission & faith nonprofit organization in El Paso is seeking an experienced and visionary Executive Director to provide strategic, operational, and values-based leadership. This role requires a leader whose personal faith and spiritual grounding align with the organization’s mission and who is able to lead with compassion, integrity, service, and humility. Reporting to the Board of Directors, the Executive Director is responsible for advancing the organization’s mission, strengthening community relationships, ensuring financial sustainability, and supporting long-term organizational growth.
RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:
Provide overall strategic leadership and direction in alignment with the organization’s faith-based mission and values
Serve as the primary ambassador and spokesperson to donors, partners, and community stakeholders
Develop and execute short- and long-term strategic plans in collaboration with the Board of Directors
Lead fundraising and development efforts, including grants, individual giving, and community partnerships
Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with donors, civic leaders, nonprofit partners, and faith-aligned supporters
Oversee financial planning, budgeting, and fiscal accountability
Review and approve financial statements, cash flow projections, and operational reports
Monitor organizational performance using key performance indicators (KPIs)
Ensure compliance with all legal, regulatory, and governance requirements
Provide administrative oversight and leadership for staff and senior leadership
Conduct performance evaluations and support professional and leadership development
Foster a collaborative, inclusive, and mission-centered organizational culture
Ensure Board resolutions and policies are implemented effectively and professionally
Travel locally and internationally, including regular travel to Ciudad Juárez, as required to support programs, partnerships, and community engagement
Perform other leadership duties as required to support organizational sustainability
