Chief Philanthropy Officer with Trinity Habitat for Humanity

Habitat for Humanity is a dynamic and inspiring global nonprofit housing organization dedicated to creating a world where everyone has a safe and affordable place to live for over 50 years. With a presence in all 50 states and 70 countries, Habitat offers a rewarding work environment where passionate individuals can make a meaningful impact.

Since 1989, Trinity Habitat for Humanity, a Christian Ministry headquartered in Fort Worth, has proudly expanded to serve Tarrant, Parker, Johnson, Wise, and Palo Pinto Counties. The team embraces Servant Leadership, fostering a culture of respect, cooperation, and excellence. Every member is empowered to lead by example, demonstrating integrity through their words, actions, and humility.

Under the CEO’s leadership, the Chief Philanthropy Officer (CPO) serves as a servant leader and key member of both the Senior Leadership Team (SLT) and Agency Leadership Team (ALT). As the organization’s lead fundraising expert, the CPO advances the mission by securing transformational and diversified funding to support North Texas families in achieving safe, affordable homeownership.

The CPO leads and executes the organization’s fundraising strategy while directly engaging with major donors and prospects. Managing a team of three, this role combines strategic oversight with hands-on fundraising and holds enterprise-wide responsibility for philanthropic revenue performance. A primary focus is cultivating and securing major gifts of $50,000+ from individuals, corporations, and foundations.

Partnering closely with the CEO, Board of Directors, and staff, the CPO develops and implements effective cultivation, solicitation, and stewardship strategies to strengthen donor relationships, increase retention, and drive revenue growth. The CPO sets ambitious yet achievable goals and ensures tailored engagement plans that inspire both annual giving and multi-year commitments. The CPO will oversee a team of six.

The organization offers a collaborative and supportive work environment. This is a full-time, flexible position, typically Monday through Friday, with potential for a hybrid schedule upon CEO approval. Occasional evenings and weekends may be required.
